Blogging BlocksPosted: July 9, 2012
So, I started my blog about a month ago on a whim.
The first week I think I posted 6 days out of 7. And then, it happened. I was at a loss. And not only that, but questioning my previously written content. I started wondering what the future would hold for this little ‘ole blog of mine. In that state of panic, I decided just not to post articles, or write, period — which can definitely not be the right answer. You see, I am by NO MEANS a writer (nor do I pretend to be), but it is yet another creative outlet that interests me and I’d like to explore. Yet, it can be quite intimidating. I came across this graphic on ’10 Steps to Becoming a Better Writer’ which I thought was pretty clever. I have also been doing a lot of research on blogging/writing in general … so just thought I would pass along my findings so that others may enjoy and possibly find inspiration also. I’m sure we all get in a rut at some point or another. But all in all I would have to agree with the graphic — that the main key is probably to get over it and just KEEP WRITING!
